Christmas Day

It was so much fun to celebrate our first Christmas as a family!  All the fun started the day before Christmas Eve as we began visiting our family and had dinner with the Henderson's.  MeMaw cooked a fantastic meal that we enjoyed before we opened all of our gifts.  Landon wasn't too interested in his first Christmas.  He slept while we opened gifts.  :o)  I think it was more for mom and dad!  The day of Christmas Eve, we went to church, and then over to my grandparent's house.  My mom's side.  After opening gifts with all the McGills, we then went back to Udog and Cici's house.  :o)  Cici had wonderful drinks and lots of snacks for us to munch on.  We opened gifts and then played mexican train.  Uncle Russell and Aunt Katie taught us all how to play the game.  That night, we got home very late.  Way past our bedtime anyway.  Christmas morning was wonderful as a family.  About lunch time, we headed over to the Rayburn's Christmas.  Landon was extremely well behaved and actually let everyone hold him!!!  We were sooo excited about this!

Christmas at Conne's!

We just got back from Canyon Lake visiting Jacy's mimi, Conne.  We were very nervous about our first 3 hour road trip, because Landon is not a fan of his car seat.  He could not have been better.  He did so well in the car not only going, but also coming back home.  We arrived @ Canyon Lake about lunch time on Saturday.  We sat around the house and had lunch and chatted with Jimmy's brothers and sisters.  About 4:00 we started to head to Gruene for dinner.

We had a great time like we do every year and really enjoyed seeing the family.  We can't believe Landon is celebrating his first Christmas.  He got to open his first gift from Mimi.  He got the cutest pair of little crocs.

Eating cereal for the first time....

Fun Christmas pics...

This picture TOTALLY describes our family....CRAZY!  Wow, you should have seen us trying to take it.  I had to give Landon a bottle because he was crying and put it behind my back the second before we snapped the shot....good times, good times!  :o)

Landon's Dedication

Sunday, December 13, Landon was dedicated at church.  He behaved so well as the preacher prayed over each family.  He wasn't camera shy at all.  After the dedication, we all came back and had hamburgers at our house.

Landon's 1st Thanksgiving!

Wow, I can't believe Landon is 18 weeks old.  We go to the doctor tomorrow to get his 4 month shots.  :o( We are very excited to see how much he has grown.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year.  Jacy, Landon and I went to my grandpa and grandma's house to eat the day of Thanksgiving.  Jacy then headed to Uvalde with his family to hunt for the weekend.  Usually we go together to hunt, but this year we thought Landon was a little young.  We can't wait until next year when he is walking and gets to go with us to Uvalde!  It is going to be a blast and will be here before we even know it.

Just recently Landon is starting to roll to his side.  He loves for you to talk to him and know he is in the room.  If you don't talk to him for a while, he has this little cry that reminds you, "Hey, I'm here!"  It is so funny.  He has also discovered he can blow bubbles and make a gargling noise.  He loves to listen to himself gargle.  He has started to laugh and likes when you dip him down like he is falling.  He LOVES it!

We are having so much fun watching him grow and just can't believe what a blessing he is.  He truly is a miracle!
